Manchmal auch Glasfaser-Jumper genannt, handelt es sich um ein Stück Glasfaserkabel, das an jedem Ende mit LC-, SC-, FC-, MTRJ- oder ST-Glasfasersteckern ausgestattet ist. Glasfaser-Jumper gibt es auch in Hybridvarianten mit einem Steckertyp an einem Ende und einem anderen Steckertyp auf der anderen Seite wie dieses hier. Über Jumper werden Endgeräte oder Netzwerkhardware an das strukturierte Verkabelungssystem angeschlossen.
